Welcome to the GRIT NOLA community, we are here and still growing and would be happy and honored to have you in our community.

Our program is proven to develop your general physicals skills. We want to bring the best version of yourself out. If you are willing to commit to a life change for the better, we want to help you, and you must be ready to do the work. We will motivate and encourage you during the tough workouts and be there to congratulate you on any personal achievement and stride you make in the gym towards your overall goal… We will be there for you. We are committed to helping you develop these 10 general Physical skills.

What we can help you achieve

1. Cardiovascular/respiratory endurance – The ability of body systems to gather, process, and deliver oxygen.
2.  Stamina – The ability of body systems to process, deliver, store and utilize energy.
3. Strength – The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply force.
4. Power – The ability of a muscular unit or combination of muscular units to apply maximum force in minimum time.
5. Speed – The ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement
6. Flexibility – The ability to maximize the range of motion at a given joint.
7. Agility – The ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another
8. Balance – The ability to control the placement of the bodies center of gravity in relation to its support base.
9. Coordination – The ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a singular distinct movement.
10. Accuracy – The ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity.

All training offered by Grit Nola is performed in a group setting, at different times of the day. Each group
training class offered daily conducts the same workout of the day, or “WOD” – If you miss a morning
class, you can pick up an evening class without missing a beat. Classes are led by a head instructor. Group
Training Classes are infinitely scalable according to the needs, strengths, and development of each
athlete. In addition, because we all have different fitness goals, elements of each workout can be
customized to suit the capabilities, fitness-level. WE WILL BE THERE FOR YOU.

The structure of our daily 1-hour workout program is simple, “warm up which may include some mobility
and flexibility exercises”, “strength and development portion” and the workout of the day (WOD). Be
ready for some high intensity interval functional movement for the whole body. All our workouts are
privately written, tested and proven to bring the best out of you.

OUR FACILITY

Grit NOLA is a unique gym that’s about 4,000 Square foot of indoor and outdoor workout space that
allows for the workouts you will perform. In our facility you will find Versatile equipment, including
kettlebells, barbells, sleds, rings and ropes, Floors made of shock-absorbent, sound-dampening rubber.
